we exist so EVERYONE can EXPERIENCE JESUS
We meet together in Rocky Mountain House.
You’ll find us at 5331 59 Avenue.
Sundays @ 10am
Sundays Are Better Together
We gather every Sunday at 10:00 AM to worship Jesus, hear the Word, pray, and do life together.
When you arrive, you can expect a welcoming atmosphere, meaningful worship, biblical teaching, and a place for the whole family.
We begin our morning with about 30 minutes of praise and worship, followed by a time of giving.
Our Nursery is available for children from 6 months through age 5, while Children’s Church is designed for kids in kindergarten to grade 5.
From there, our pastor brings a practical, Bible-centered message designed to help us know Jesus, grow in our faith, and live it out throughout the week.
Our services typically run 90–100 minutes, wrapping up around 11:30–11:40 AM.
And before you head out, stick around for a coffee or tea and take a few minutes to connect with people.
Whether church is familiar to you or completely new, you’re invited.
Come as you are. Find your people. Meet with Jesus.
See you Sunday.
Nursery
6 months - age 5
Our nursery provides a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for your little ones while you enjoy the service. We want every child to feel loved, cared for, and welcomed as part of the New Life family.
After praise and worship, children from 6 months through Kindergarten are dismissed to our nursery, where our team is ready to care for them and help make their Sunday morning a positive experience.
New Life Kids
Kindergarten - grade 5
At New Life Kids, children have a place to learn, grow, and discover who Jesus is. After praise and worship, our kids are dismissed to their own age-appropriate service where they’ll engage with God’s Word through teaching, activities, and meaningful conversation.
We currently use theGOSPELproject curriculum to help kids understand the big story of the Bible and see how it all points to Jesus.
Mid Week
There’s more to church than Sunday.
Our mid-week gatherings are opportunities to go deeper in the Word,
spend time in prayer, build meaningful relationships, and grow together.
Find your place. Build community. Grow in faith.

Our Pastors
Lloyd and Betty Hoetmer are the Senior Pastors of New Life Church, where they have served together since 2003. Their call to ministry began in 1989 after encountering Christ and responding to the leading of the Holy Spirit to move to Rocky Mountain House.
Lloyd and Betty love God’s Word, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and people. They are passionate about seeing lives transformed by Jesus and believe strongly in the power and importance of the local church. Their own experience of God’s faithfulness through difficult seasons has shaped their compassion and their desire to bring hope to others.
They have also served in missions throughout Central America, Africa, India and Russia.
Married for over 40 years, Lloyd and Betty have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren. Their family is an important part of New Life Church, and they are grateful for the opportunity to serve Jesus together.
Our Values
-
Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Methods will come and go, but our message will remain the same. -
All people are loved and accepted by Jesus.
Our focus is to reach people and help them discover their purpose in Jesus - to help them learn why they were created.
Our journey’s may be different, but when we move towards Jesus our direction is the same -
We honour and care for those people God has placed around us by speaking respectfully and extending grace.
We recognize spiritual authority and are thankful for leadership. -
We believe in everyone being actively involved; each one using their God given gifts to be a contributor.
-
We believe leadership is modelled when we serve others. Every leader is a servant first.
If your are too big to serve, then you are too small to lead. -
God has given richly toward us, it is our privilege to give back to Him.
Generosity is about giving more than what is required.
We are generous with our time, talent and treasure. -
We are prepared, on time, and engaged. We do all things to the best of our abilities.

The third Sunday of every month is Missions Sunday.
We take up a special offering to support organizations and ministries serving
locally, nationally, and internationally.
It’s one of the ways we get to be part of something bigger than ourselves
—helping share the hope of Jesus beyond the walls of our church.
