Privacy Policy — New Life Church Automation
About this app
New Life Church Automation is an internal tool used by New Life Church in Rocky Mountain House to run its own Sunday live streams. It runs on a church computer and is operated only by church staff and volunteers. It is not offered to the public, and members of the public never sign into it.
What it accesses
The app uses YouTube API Services to manage the church's own YouTube channel, and no other account. With the church's permission, it can:
Find the church's current live broadcast
Set the broadcast's title, description and visibility
Add the broadcast to one of the church's playlists
Start and end the church's live broadcast
Access is granted once by a church account holder through Google's standard sign-in screen.
What it does not do
The app does not collect, store, sell or share personal information about viewers, church members or anyone else. It does not use data for advertising, and it does not send any data to third parties other than Google, which operates YouTube.
Storage and security
The only thing the app keeps is the sign-in key Google issues when access is granted. It is stored on the church computer that runs the app and is not shared.
Revoking access
The church can remove the app's access at any time from the Google Account security page: Third-party apps with account access.
YouTube and Google policies
By using this app, the church's use of YouTube is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
